Achei o post sobre NI interessante, e estou reblogando com algumas alterações.

I foundthe post about NI interesting, so I’m reblogging it with some changes.

1. Indica ponto no tempo
Indicates a point in time

* ごぜん五時におきました。
* Gozen goji ni okimashita.
* Acordei às 5 da manhã.
* I woke up at 5am.

2. Indica onde algo existe:
Indicates that something exists:

* たなの上に本があります。
* Tana no ue ni hon ga arimasu.
* Tem um livro em cima da estante.
* There is a book over the shelve.

3. Indica o destino de um verbo de movimento:
Indicates the target of a movement verb:

* コンビニに行きます。
* Konbini ni ikimasu.
* Vou para a loja de conveniências.
* I’m going to the convenience store.

4. Indica superfície onde uma ação foi deixada
Indicates the surface where an action was left:

* こくばんにひらがなを書いた。
* Kokuban ni hiragana wo kaita.
* Escrevi hiraganas na lousa.
* I wrote hiragana on the blackboard.

5. Indica quem recebe a ação
Indicates who is receiving the action:

* あの人に本をわたしました。
* Ano hito ni hon wo watashimashita.
* Entreguei o livro para aquela pessoa.
* I gave a book to that person.

6. Indica fonte com verbos de recepção
Indicates the source when used with a reception verb:

* ともだちに本をもらいました。
* Tomodachi ni hon wo moraimashita.
* Ganhei um livro de um amigo.
* I got a book from a friend.

7. Indica agente em frases passivas
Indicates the agent in passive phrases:

* 犬にかまれました。
* Inu ni kamaremashita.
* Fui mordido por um cachorro.
* I got bitten by a dog .
